Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is watching in fear and reportedly concerned about an arrest warrant being issued against him by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.

Israeli media revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Defence Minister Yoav Gallant in addition to the Israeli army Chief Of Staff Herzi Halevi are vulnerable to be arrested for commiting crimes in Gaza that violate the International Law and the Fourth Geneva Convention.

Israeli officials are increasingly worried that the issuance of international arrest warrants against Netanyahu and other senior Israeli officials could be in May 2024.

Israel’s today reported that such arrest warrants could have a devastating impact and lead to label ‘Israel’ as a state to be marred with “war criminal”. In addition, Netanyahu would be banned from traveling to 123 countries if he was arrested.

Israeli lawyer and human rights activist Ur Man tweeted, “So far, Netanyahu has feared arrest due to his criminal actions within Israel, and now amidst the war on Gaza, he fears the International Criminal Court in The Hague even more.”

Following the news, three ministers and several government legal experts held last Tuseday an “emergency discussion” at the Prime Minister’s Office the ways to fend off and prevent the potential warrants.

Netanyahu has been racing with time seaking help in his meetings last week with Britain’s Foreign Secretary David Cameron and Germany’s Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.

Hebrew media speculated that the ICC warrants could be linked to Netanyahu-Biden dispute on the last course of time with immense expectations that the arrest warrants could be greenlighted by America itself.
