Syria Calls on UN, Security Council to Stop Terrorist Israeli Attacks
Syria called Monday, August 7, 2023, on the United Nations and the Security Council to take real action against the Israeli attack on the vicinity of Damascus city at dawn today.
The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants called to hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its continuous crimes and attacks on the Syrian people and facilities.
Israeli warplanes launched massive airstrikes on many areas around Damascus, killing four Syrian soldiers, injuring four others, and damaging many facilities, said the ministry.
It added that the repeated Israeli attacks and crimes prove that the Israeli occupation is the main reason for coach and terrorism in the area, and it is a real threat to regional and international peace and stability.
The ministry stressed that this terrorist Israeli attack is a clear violation of international human law, calling on the United Nations and the Security Council to urgently act, stop Israeli crimes, and hold it accountable for its ongoing crimes.
