Pro-Palestine Activists Rally in Solidarity with Gaza Amidst Ongoing Israeli Attacks

In light of the ongoing heinous and brutal Israeli attacks targeting women, children, and the elderly in the besieged Gaza Strip, supporters of the Palestinian cause in the Netherlands took to the streets today, Saturday, October 8, 2023, to participate in a solidarity demonstration with the people of the Gaza Strip.

They marched through the streets of Rotterdam, waving the Palestinian flag high in a show of support. They also chanted for the freedom of the Palestinian people.

On Saturday morning, Palestinian factions in Gaza launched an operation called “Flood of Al-Aqsa” in response to the continuous attacks by Israeli forces and settlers against the Palestinian people, their property, and their holy sites, especially the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In return, the Israeli army launched an operation called “Iron Swords”. The Israeli aircraft carried out a series of airstrikes in Gaza, targeting residential buildings.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the death of over 374 Palestinians and the injury of 2200 others.
