Israeli War Crimes Continue as Another Palestinian Killed in Gaza Shelter

The Israeli occupation forces have committed another atrocity against the Palestinian people in Gaza, killing one and injuring many others in an artillery attack on a shelter for displaced people in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip. The shelter was hosting hundreds of Palestinians who had fled their homes due to the relentless Israeli bombardment of the besieged enclave.
The Palestinian health ministry reported that the Israeli aggression, which started on October 7th, has killed more than 9770 Palestinian civilians in Gaza, 5000 of them are children. The ministry also said that more than 24,800 Palestinians have been wounded, many of them with permanent disabilities. The Israeli occupation forces have deliberately targeted civilian infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, mosques, media offices, and power plants, causing a humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
The Israeli aggression on Palestinian civilians in Gaza continues for its 31st day in a row, despite the international condemnation and calls for an immediate ceasefire. The Israeli regime has ignored the UN Security Council resolutions and the human rights conventions, and has continued to violate the Palestinian right to life, dignity, and self-determination. The Palestinian resistance factions have vowed to defend their people and land against the Israeli occupation and aggression, and have launched rockets and missiles towards the Israeli settlements and military bases. The Palestinian people have also staged protests and demonstrations in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the 1948 territories, demanding an end to the Israeli occupation and oppression.
