Israeli Troops Attack Peaceful Gaza Protesters: Injuries Reported
Israeli occupation forces attacked Wednesday, September 20, dozens of Palestinians, who were engaged in peaceful protests alongside the separation fence east of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Local Palestinian sources reported that Israeli troops fired live bullets and toxic tear gas bombs at the protesters near the separation fence, wounding two Palestinians and suffocating dozens.
The protesters reportedly raised the Palestine flag and chanted slogans condemning Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.
They also called for the resistance of the Israeli occupation and expressed solidarity with the Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem who face intensifying Israeli assaults and restrictions while safeguarding the city and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
