Israeli Settlers, Forces Assault Palestinians in Bethlehem
Israeli settlers attacked Saturday, September 9, a Palestinian family near Al-Khadr town, in the occupied West Bank of Bethlehem, injuring a Palestinian citizen.
A group of extremist settlers assaulted members of a Palestinian family in their agricultural land in the Al-Thaghra adjacent to the “Daniel” Israeli settlement, which is built on Palestinians’ lands. They assaulted a member causing fractures in his feet.
Separately, Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian houses in Khalayel Al-Louz, south of the city, fired live bullets and threw stones at the houses, injuring another citizen.
Consequently, Palestinian citizens confronted the Israeli settlers and the forces, who protected the setters and attacked the citizens with live and rubber bullets and toxic tear gas bombs.
Daily, Israeli troops storm the Palestinian cities and towns of the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, detaining, killing, and injuring citizens there.
In July 2023, Israeli occupation forces and settlers committed a total of 897 attacks against the Palestinian people, their properties, and their holy sites, according to the Colonization & Wall Resistance Commission CWRC.
