In a tense and confrontational episode near the security fence in Gaza and Rafah on Tuesday, a number of Palestinian youth sustained injuries as Israeli occupation forces sought to quell hundreds of protestors.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip has reported that 11 Palestinian citizens were wounded during the clashes by the Israeli occupation fire, further escalating tensions in the region.

The confrontations erupted when Palestinian youth gathered near the security fence to protest against the Israeli occupation. As the protest gained momentum, Israeli occupation forces responded with the extensive use of tear gas, firing dozens of canisters toward the protestors.
