Israeli Navy shoot Palestinian Fisherman Off Gaza Shore

Israeli occupation navy shot on Thursday, August 3, 2023, a Palestinian fisherman, Iyad Kaskin, with rubber coated-metal bullets while he was working at sea off the northern coast of Gaza.
Nizar Ayyash, the head of the Palestinian fishermen, reported that five fishing boats were pursued by Israeli naval boats at a distance of 2 nautical miles from the Waha area, and they opened fire towards them.
Kaskin received on-site treatment after being hit by a rubber coated-metal bullet while he was trying to earn a living at sea.
Ayyash confirmed that the Israeli navy regularly attacks Palestinian fishermen and their boats while they are working in the waters off Gaza, committing various violations against them.
The Israeli navy frequently chases fishermen in Gaza under the pretext of exceeding the permitted fishing zone, which extends up to 6 nautical miles north and 15 nautical miles south of the Gaza Strip.
