Israeli Court Releases 2 Israeli Settlers after Killing Palestinian

The so-called Israeli Magistrates Court in occupied Jerusalem released Wednesday, August 9, 2023, two settlers who killing of a Palestinian in the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, last Friday evening.

According to Israeli media, the Israeli court released the criminal Yehiel Endor, from the Oz Zion Israeli settlement outpost, near the Burqa village, and sentenced him to house arrest.

It added that the court released extremist Elisha Yared, the former official of the “Jewish Power Party”, which is led by the fascist Israeli minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who was also involved in the killing of the young Maatan.

The court claimed that there wasn’t enough evidence that keeps them in detention.

Earlier, Ben Gvir called for awarding a “Medal of Appreciation” and providing legal immunity for the settler who shot and killed Palestinian Qusai Maatan, 18, during a terrorist attack by settlers on the town of Barqa, east of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank.
