Gaza Death Toll Rises to Over 10,500 as Israeli Occupation Intensifies Attacks

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza has announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 10,569, including 4,324 children, 2,823 women, and 649 elderly. The number of wounded has reached 26,475, many of whom are in critical condition.
In a press briefing on Wednesday, Dr Ashraf al-Qudra, the ministry spokesperson, said that 214 people were killed in the last 24 hours, as the Israeli occupation continued to target residential buildings, health facilities, and infrastructure. He added that at least 2,550 people are missing, including 1,350 children, and that the search and rescue operations are hampered by the lack of equipment and fuel.
Dr al-Qudra also said that 193 medical staff have been killed and 45 ambulances are out of service, as the Israeli occupation has deliberately attacked the health sector and prevented the entry of medical supplies and personnel. He called for a safe humanitarian corridor for the delivery of aid and the evacuation of thousands of wounded, who need urgent treatment outside Gaza.
He also urged the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross to be present inside hospitals to stop Israeli threats, protect the health system, and allow staff to carry out humanitarian tasks. He said that the Israeli occupation is violating all international laws and conventions, and committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
