Arab Parliament Denounces Israeli Settler Incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Arab Parliament has condemned Tuesday, September 26, the extremist Israeli settlers’ incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, led by the extremist Yehuda Glick, and conducting provocative actions that violate the mosque’s sanctity under the protection of occupying forces.
In a statement, the Parliament emphasized that the Israeli occupation’s incursions and assaults aggravate the cycle of violence and ignite tensions in the area.
The occupation forces’ intrusion into the Ibrahimi Mosque and their prevention of worshippers from entering is a flagrant violation of the worshippers’ freedom to access places of worship freely and safely, it said.
The Arab Parliament denounced the brutal aggression carried out by the occupation forces in the Nour Shams refugee camp east of Tulkarem, resulting in the murder of two Palestinian citizens, the destruction of the camp’s infrastructure, and an escalation of the heinous attacks against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

It stated that these violations constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity, adding to the extrajudicial killings the Israeli forces committed against the defenceless Palestinian people.
The Arab Parliament held the Israeli occupation fully and directly responsible for these crimes, which are expected to deteriorate the situation and increase tension and instability.
It called on the international community, the United Nations, the Security Council, and international human rights and humanitarian organizations to exert pressure on the Israeli occupation to end its repeated crimes and violations and end its occupation of Palestine.
