47 Israeli Settlement Organizations Work to Judaize Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque
Israeli occupation launched on Thursday, 21 September 2023 a new settlement movement bringing the number of institutions working on judaizing Al-Aqsa Mosque to 47 organizations.
The new settlement movement will hold a demonstration in front of the home of the far-right Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, to demand that the Israeli settlers be allowed to perform all public rituals in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Earlier, the Union of Temple Mount Groups called the Israeli settlers to invade Al-Aqsa Mosque in mid-September citing the so-called Jewish holidays as a pretext.
Temple Mount Groups mobilized their colonial settler to carry out large-scale incursions into the Al-Aqsa mosque citing the Jewish holiday season which will begin in mid-September as a pretext.
In response, Palestinian activists and officials called on the Palestinian people to intensify their presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque in the coming days to confront settlers’ widespread incursions.
Right-wing colonial settlers repeatedly raid the Muslim holy sites in occupied Jerusalem basically the Al-Aqsa Mosque, using Jewish holidays as an excuse.
In August 2023, at least 3891 colonial Israeli settlers invaded Al-Aqsa Mosque, performed provocative Talmudic rituals in its yards, and conducted the so-called “epic prostration” at its gates.
As part of a decades-old accord between Jordan and the Israeli occupation, non-Muslims are not allowed to perform any religious rituals inside the confines of Al-Aqsa Mosque, nor are Israeli symbols allowed to be displayed.
