3 Mosques Flattened by Israeli Airstrikes

The renowned Mosque of Ahmed Yassin in Shati refugee camp has been flattened to the ground in a violent round Israeli airforces have launched against the Gaza Strip after Monday midnight October 8th, 2023.

Eyewitnesses said that Israeli aircraft pounded the Mosque with a heavy strike that led to its full destruction and severe damages have been inflicted on the nearby houses as the Mosque is located in a very densely populated area.

A Palestinian girl was killed in the Mosque’s attack and others were wounded, according to local sources.

Early hours of Monday night, the big Al-Yarmouk Mosque, West of Gaza City, was also leveled to the ground, causing massive destruction to the infrastructure.

Local sources said that a number of Palestinians were pulled out dead from under the Mosque’s rubble.

In the Shati refugee camp, another Mosque Abu Shant was also demolished without a prior warning just moments earlier to Ahmed Yassine Mosque’s bomb.
